Team of JSC “PO “Sevmash” became an absolute leader as concerns the number of gained nominations in corporative science and technical competition of the projects and developments of young scientists and specialists, which was organized by JSC “United Shipbuilding Corporation”.

50 scientific woks on five directions participated in the competition, which started at the end of last year. Young people from various enterprises of United Ship building Corporation participated in the competition, including nine persons from Sevmash. Young representatives of the largest shipbuilding enterprise in Russia gained totally four premiums of different nomination, including two of the highest value. Research of the designer Dmitriy Luzhanskiy, Anton Khabarov and Konstanton Kamenev were found the best among subject directions. By estimate of the commission, many of submitted works or innovations contained in these works, can be successfully implemented in production and design processes, significantly increasing different components of the efficiency. Thus, the work “Development and implementing of steel making practice for steel grade АК for manufacturing of forgings from ingots of in-house production”, the authors – Vitaliy Babkin, deputy head of Chief metallurgist department отдела and Nataliya Danilova, production engineer, was approved for technological implementation at Sevmash.
Yuriy Spiridonov, deputy chief engineer, head of design bureau, noted: “Such competitions hold for maximum development of creative potential of talented young people, attraction of young people for solving out the most vital production, technical, economical an other tasks on the basis of young people perspective developments implementation into production, are of big value for Sevmash”.
