“I am glad to come to Russia again and to work onboard the aircraft carrier” – said a new Warship Production Superintendent Mr. Srinivas.

Captain Srinivas supersedes Mr. Swaminathan as Warship Production Superintendent and on Monday held a kick-off meeting with Deputy Director General of Sevmash Sergey Novoselov. Mr. Kudaravalli Srinivas is familiar with the ship, he had worked here as commander for three years from May 2005 till April 2008, and afterwards back in India he kept an eye on the repairs progress. “In my opinion, you are on schedule; habitability, compartments preparation and finish are of prime importance today” said the new Warship Production Superintendent. “Certainly, much will depend on the trials results. But I am sure, that the work will be done on time and it will be a great ship for the Indian Navy.”

Today Mr. Srinivas inspected the ship for the first time as Warship Production Superintendent.
