TRIALS STAGE IS COMPLETED

    Important stage of nuclear submarine “Dmitry Donskoy” trials were successfully completed in August.
    Head of headquarters of the 18th division of the North Fleet, captain Arkady Romanov thanked Sevmash shipbuilders for carrying out submarine trials.
    In 2002 reequipped nuclear submarine was launched. Many new systems requiring careful adjustment in marine polygon were installed aboard. Within several years “Dmitry Donskoy” were put to the White Sea.
    Above 100 Sevmash specialists and above 70 other specialists took part in trials together with military sailors.
    “Trials were carried out on high level and with good results. The best submarine qualities were revealed, such as manoeuvrability, speed, handling quality, reliability. Submarine is ready for carrying out the following reactor complex trials”, – noticed Arkady Romanov in gratifying letter.
    At present time submarine is situated near Sevmash berth. The next important task is missile complex adjustment.
